Refund Policy
We want you to feel comfortable purchasing from Tosai Art Tokyo. If for any reason you would like to return an item, please review the policy below.
30-Day Return Period
We accept return requests within 30 days after delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, with any original packaging and accompanying materials when available. Proof of purchase is also required.
To request a return, please contact us at store@tosai-art.com. Please contact us before sending the item back so that we can provide the correct return address and return instructions.
Items returned without prior contact may take longer to process or may not be accepted if they are sent to an incorrect address.
Return Shipping Costs
Unless the return is due to our error, such as an incorrect item, damage in transit, or a defective item, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service for returns, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Damages and Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order promptly upon arrival. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label so that we can review the issue and make it right.
If the return is due to our error, damage in transit, or a defective item, we will provide appropriate return instructions and cover reasonable return shipping costs when a return is required.
Non-Returnable Items
At this time, we do not designate any specific product category as non-returnable. However, returns may not be accepted if the item is not returned in the same condition in which it was received, or if the return request is made after the return period has passed.

Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please request a return in accordance with this policy and place a new order separately.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped to a country within the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, for any reason and without justification.
To qualify, the item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, with any original packaging and accompanying materials when available, and proof of purchase is required.
Unless the return is due to our error, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.
For customer-preference returns, original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by applicable law. If the return is due to our error, such as an incorrect item, damage in transit, or a defective item, we will refund the item price and applicable original shipping charges.
Any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or similar charges paid directly to customs authorities or to the carrier are non-refundable by Tosai Art Tokyo. If you paid such charges, you may need to contact the relevant customs authority or carrier directly regarding any possible refund.
